Nicholas J. Malagisi, SIOR, serves as National Director of Self Storage and Senior Advisor for SVN, specializing in the valuation, purchase and disposition of self-storage properties. Since 1993, Malagisi has participated in the sale of properties valued in excess of $1 Billion, including single assets as well as portfolios.

Malagisi began his self storage career with industry leader, Public Storage, where he was responsible for site acquisition and development of new properties in the Northeast and Ontario, Canada. Malagisi continues to work as a consultant in preparing feasibility studies for new developments, testifying in court as an expert witness on condemnation cases, and preparing valuations (Broker Opinion of Value-BOV) of properties for various institutional clients.

Malagisi is a long-standing member of the Self Storage Association (SSA), the national trade organization representing self storage owners, operators, and vendors within the industry, and is a member of the Canadian Self Storage Association and a Director on the NYS Self Storage Association.
Malagisi is a member of the WNY chapter of the NYS Commercial Association of Realtors and a member of the National Association of Realtors where he has earned his SIOR designation, one of only 3,000 members internationally. In addition, he has earned “Partner Circle” status within SVN and CoStar “Power Broker” designation several times during his career.

Malagisi earned his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, School of Management. His studies were interrupted for two years while he served as a member of the U.S. Army, including a tour of duty in the Republic of South Vietnam. Malagisi resides with his family in the Buffalo, N.Y. area.

Constance (Connie) Neville, J.D., is a Managing Director and serves as the Self Storage Product Council Co-Chair for SVN. She specializes in the sale of self storage facilities in New England. As a member of the SVN Asset Recovery Team (SVNART) Connie represented regional banks and lenders in the disposition of troubled loans and foreclosed properties. Locally, Connie sells and leases retail and office properties in Lexington, MA. On a national level, Connie has clients who remediate, reposition and re-develop environmentally impacted properties.

In 2000, before affiliating with SVN, Neville founded her own full service brokerage firm, C.M. Neville & Associates. Under her direction the firm sold land, industrial, retail, and office properties in Eastern Massachusetts. These transactions included the acquisition of several properties for Public Storage. Prior to entering commercial real estate Neville practiced law, serving as litigator and negotiator for individuals, business owners and corporations. Coupled with her commercial real estate expertise, Neville’s legal training and experience enable her to effectively negotiate deals in the best interest of all parties.

Since joining the SVN National Self Storage Team, Neville has participated in the sale of self storage properties totaling 3,022,000 square feet and over $179,000,000 in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and New York. Neville is a member of the National Self Storage Association (SSA). She is a member of, and board member of, the Northeast Self Storage Association (NESSA), the Maine Self Storage Association (MESSA) and the New Hampshire Self Storage Association (NHSSA). In addition to her primary focus on the self storage asset class, Neville brokers transactions involving mixed-use retail and office properties, and industrial buildings. As a resident of Lexington, Massachusetts, Neville is actively involved in community groups including Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce and various town committees. Neville received her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law, her master’s degree from George Washington University and her bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College.

John Fletcher, serves as Senior Advisor for SVN Commercial Realty, and specializes in the valuation, financing, purchase and disposition of self-storage properties. Since 1995, Fletcher has provided hundreds of loans and financial solutions for property owners throughout New York State and the USA. Fletcher has also participated in the sale of many self storage properties primarily located in the Northeast.

Fletcher began his commercial real estate career in mortgage finance where he was responsible for all aspects of underwriting and closing commercial real estate loans. He has experience with all types of lending programs and lenders including local and national banks, SBA programs, life insurance companies, conduits, as well as private and financial lenders.

Today Fletcher works closely with the SVN self storage team along with investors and property owners to help underwrite and value property and arrange competitive short- and long-term mortgage financing. Fletcher can also help with construction or acquisition deals to structure the various stages of development with interest only or mezzanine loans that could offer alternative long-term fixed rate options upon stabilization.

Fletcher is a member of the Self Storage Association (SSA) and the New York State Self Storage Association (NYSSA). Fletcher is also a member of the New York
State Commercial Association of Realtors Western New York Chapter as well as its 2010 & 2011 past President.

Hans W. Hardisty serves as a Managing Director with SVN Hardisty Commercial Realty and specializes in the purchase and sale of self-storage facilities across the tri-state area. Hardisty is a member of the NY Self-Storage Association (NYSSA), the National Self-Storage Association (SSA), a member of the New York State Commercial Association of REALTORS, a CCIM, and holds an MBA. Hardisty also has extensive development and management experience.

Since joining SVN, Hardisty has participated in the disposition of single properties from $900,000 to $27,000,000, development sites, buyer representation, joint ventures, and a large portfolio sale of $42,000,000. In addition, he has served as an industry expert and consultant for large private and publicly traded companies (REITs) seeking to enter and/or grow within the self-storage industry. Moreover, he has teamed with multiple SVN members across the country as an in-house analytical resource.

Prior to joining SVN, Hardisty worked for Herb Redl Properties as the Business Development Officer. This privately-held company purchases, develops, manages, and operates premium self-storage facilities and commercial properties across the Hudson Valley. Herb Redl Properties has holdings of 1,300,000 square feet, where Hardisty made big impacts in the commercial leasing department by closing 65 retail and office space leases in two years, and within the 13-facility self-storage portfolio, where he developed comprehensive feasibility and valuation proformas for expansion, development, and acquisition projects.

Hardisty earned his BA in Economics with Honors from Gettysburg College and an MBA Cum Laude with a focus on Real Estate and Entrepreneurship from The George Washington University. In between his studies, he worked two years as a Program Officer for an Economic Development Corporation in New York, NY and one year for the Empire State Economic Development Corporation. Hardisty grew up in the self-storage and real estate business and has taken on most of the countless tasks and efforts that arise from a landlord, developer, and manager’s perspective.

Hans has served on the Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation Board of Trustees, The Bardavon 1869 Opera House Board of Directors, and currently serves on the Dutchess County Planning Board and the Upstate New York CCIM Board of Directors. Hans and his family reside in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Kristen Wilson-Asman is a Licensed Real Estate Agent and a Senior Real Estate Advisor with SVN. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Miami University of Ohio. After graduation, Ms. Asman worked as an Auditor for Deloitte and Touche in Cincinnati, OH.

Ms. Asman began her real estate career with Matthews Click Bauman in Columbus, OH and later worked at McKinney Properties and Horizons Real Estate in Property Management and Development before joining SVN in 2003. Ms. Asman has worked in Sales and Leasing of all Real Property Types but has focused recently on investment sales with the National Self Storage Team.

Blair “Red” Greenlaw has extensive real estate experience as an investor and project manager and leverages skills developed in these activities to help businesses maximize their potential through real estate. In his brokerage activities Red focuses on Self Storage assets in the southeast and has considerable experience in investment sales. As a member of SVN’s National Self Storage Council he provides clients with local knowledge and leverages his national network to provide unmatched value.

Prior to becoming licensed in Real Estate, Red spent nearly two decades as a pilot in the U.S. Navy, where he still holds a commission as a Commander in the United States Navy reserve. His most recent assignment was as the Commanding Officer of VR-62, an aviation squadron that conducts worldwide strategic operations in support of deployed assets and theater commanders. Red holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Maryland and a master’s degree from The Naval War College.

Red was selected as the Northeast Florida Regional Director for SVN Alliance in 2017 and covers a geographic area from central Florida to the Georgia border. Since leaving active duty, Red has resided in Jacksonville, FL with his wife and 2 children.

Polly Johnson is a Vice President with SVN-Rich Investment Real Estate Partners in Los Angeles. Ms. Johnson began her real estate career with Beitler Commercial before joining SVN in 2004. Working with individuals and groups of investors in the 1031 market, Polly has transacted over $175,000,000 in closings. Polly has worked in sales and leasing of all real property types and has focused recently on investment sales with the National Self Storage Team. She received her BA from Antioch University, Los Angeles and her master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Polly lives in Los Angeles with her family.

Mary joined SVN Commercial Advisory Group in Sarasota in September 2020. Originally from the Maryland/DC area. Mary brings over 10 years of work experience in the marketing and sales fields while specializing in buying/selling of self storage facilities on the west coast Florida area. Mary previously was a part of a national self storage brokerage team that closed $5 billion plus of self storage transactions over a 10 year period. Mary has attended several national self storage conferences & is a member of the national Self Storage Association and Florida Self Storage Association.

Mary attended Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa. where she earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. Most recently, Mary completed the Negotiation Programme through the London School of Economics where she learned important negotiating skills in  order to better serve her clients.
